Britain's Coe elected IAAF vice-president

London's 2012 Olympic chief Sebastian Coe was elected vice-president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) on Wednesday.

The twice Olympic 1,500 metres champion was voted in at a meeting of the IAAF congress ahead of the world championships in Osaka starting this weekend.

Ukraine's Sergey Bubka, American Robert Hersh and Dahlan Al-Hamad of Qatar will also serve four-year terms as vice-presidents.

Meanwhile, Lamine Diack was voted into a final four-year term as IAAF president.
