GENEVA, July 13 (Xinhua) -- FIFA will announce the hosts of the 2014 World Cup and the 2011 women's World Cup on Oct. 30, the world football governing body said on Friday.
In a statement issued in Zurich, FIFA said that the candidate associations will have the final opportunity to present their bids to the executive committee on Oct. 29.
So far Brazil is the only country bidding for the 2014 World Cup, while five countries - Australia, Canada, France, Germany and Peru - have expressed desire to host the 2011 women's World Cup.
The 2010 World Cup will be hosted in South Africa, while the 2007 women's World Cup is being held in China.
